Course Offerings

Technical Theatre

Technical theatre students learn the back stage elements of the theatrical arts. In this class, students will learn and apply the fundaments of stage lighting and design, sound design and engineering, set design, set construction, scenery painting, costume design, stage combat choreography, dance choreography, stage management, house management, stage make up, and more! 

Beginning & Intermediate Theatre

Technical theatre students learn the back stage elements of the theatrical arts. In this class, students will learn and apply the fundaments of stage lighting and design, sound design and engineering, set design, set construction, paint scenery, costume design, stage combat choreography, dance choreography, stage management, house management, stage make up, and more! 

Production 

Theatre production students put the skills they learned in theatre 1-6 into practice as they take part in the production of the fall and spring shows from start to finish! Previously learned skills are perfected while new and more challenging techniques are introduced. Students will also participate in producing and performing smaller productions including those written by their fellow EC thespians!

Participation in the fall and spring shows is a requirement of the production class and accounts for a significant portion of students' grades. Students is only open to students who have received previous instructor approval.
